Had great fun shopping for groceries for CNY, buying gifts for close relatives and friends. Even received some gifts from colleagues, which is heart-warming. It feels somewhat like Christmas again.
Supermarkets are bustling with activity with stockpiles of new year goodies and great seafood. It is an enjoyment to be part of it all.
However, these numerous trips to the supermarkets are causing a hole in my pocket. Got to remind myself to keep some for the bigger hole next week when giving angpows to the young ones. No input, only output. :P

I also burnt a big hole in my pocket. Anyway, you are right. It's CNY, and this is part and parcel of life, sharing and giving our blessings.
